| AbstractThis descriptive-cross-sectional study aimed to determine the relationship between COVID-19 phobia and fatherhood and male roles in fathers with children at the ages of 0-11. The sample of the study consisted of 320 fathers. Data were collected via Google.form, February-March 2021, using the “Personal Information Form”, “the Corona Virus Phobia Scale (C19P-S)”, the “Fatherhood Role Perception Scale (FRPS)” and “the Male Role Norms Scale (MRNS)”. Analysis of data carried out with IBM SPSS Statistics 25 program. During the COVID-19 pandemic, 11.9% of the fathers had COVID-19, and 66.9% went to work. Total mean scores obtained from the scales C19P-S: 55,48±15,53; MRNS: 3,86±0,78 ve FRPS: 103,25±10,89. A positive correlation was found between status and psychological, economic. Also, a positive correlation was found between C19P-S total and status, and a negative correlation was found between all all score types of MRNS and FRPS. It can be said that COVID-19 phobia and fatherhood roles are associated with fathers' beliefs about appropriate behaviours and roles for men they adopt. Gaining and maintaining respect with status in fathers may be related to an increase in COVID-19 phobia and a decrease in positive fatherhood perception, especially both psychologically and economically.
